The Tarion Awards of Excellence, formerly known as the Ernest Assaly Awards, are presented to builders who have a truly outstanding record of after sales service in the Ontario home building industry. This year’s award winners were recognized at a signature gala event that took place on September 23, 2004, at the prestigious Liberty Grand on the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto.

The following four builders received Ontario Builder of the Year awards in their respective categories.
