Your deposit is protected by Tarion, up to a maximum of $20,000 for condominium units*, in the event that your builder is unable to complete the sale of your new home because of bankruptcy, your builder’s fundamental breach of the purchase agreement, or in the event that you have a statutory right to treat your purchase agreement as terminated.

*Condominium deposits in excess of $20,000 and up to an additional $20,000 are protected by the excess deposit provisions of the Condominium Act
