Maria joined Tarion’s Board in April 2023 and her current term expires in 2026. She is currently a member of the Stakeholder and Governance, Regulatory Affairs & Nominations Committees.
Maria is the VP of Building and Land Development for PK Custom Homes based in Listowel Ontario. In her role she oversees all aspects of the land development operations of the business. She also oversees portions of the residential construction process including sales, customer service and warranty services. PK Custom Homes is a family run business established in 1989. Maria joined the family business in 2017 and has continued to grow the business on the home construction, home rental and land development side.
In addition to her work at PK Custom Homes, Maria is a very well-respected leader in her industry, having sat on the Waterloo Region Home Builders’ Association executive and board of directors for 9 years, serving a three-year term as the Association President. She has also served on the Ontario Home Builders’ Association board of directors. Maria also serves and is active on other boards and committees in her community.
