Buying a new home is a journey. This year, Ontario home buyers have recognized three builders for their commitment to making that experience exceptional.
The Homeowners’ Choice Awards celebrate builders who excel in customer service at every stage, from the initial purchase process through possession, warranty service and after-sales support. The awards are based on feedback provided directly by homeowners, ensuring that the recognition reflects the experiences of the people who matter most.
Based on this direct homeowner feedback, the 2026 award recipients are:
- Small Volume: Pinnacle Quality Homes, Mitchell, Ontario
- Medium Volume: Klemencic Homes, Trenton, Ontario
- Large Volume: Hayhoe Homes, St. Thomas, Ontario
Award recipients were determined using results from the 2025 homeowner satisfaction survey. Conducted by an independent third-party research firm, the survey was sent to more than 47,000 Ontario homeowners who had recently taken possession of a newly built home.
Homeowners were asked a series of questions about their builder’s customer service, including their overall experience, how well it met their expectations, the timeliness of responses to service or repair requests, and whether they would recommend the builder to others.
Through this recognition, the Homeowners’ Choice Awards encourage a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and customer-focused service across the residential construction industry.
