Vice President and General Counsel

Colin Grant joined Tarion as Vice-President and General Counsel in November 2025. He brings nearly three decades of legal, governance and risk management leadership across Ontario’s public and private sectors, including senior roles at Meridian Credit Union, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, the Toronto District School Board, and the City of Brampton. Before moving into executive in-house positions, Colin practiced as a trial and appellate lawyer in private practice. He holds a law degree from Queen’s University and was called to the Ontario bar in 1997. Colin is a past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Municipal Law Section.
