As part of our commitment to continuously improve our digital platforms to provide better user experience and protect your data, Tarion is making enhancements to serve you better.
To facilitate the necessary system updates there will be a scheduled outage beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24 until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
During this time users will not have access to BuilderLink, MyHome, and Vendor Builder Integration (VBI) Webservices.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your operations and appreciate your cooperation as we implement these updates.
For more information on actions to take before the outage and extension of timelines please refer to the below information.
Please Note: Any timelines for warranty processes falling within the outage timeframe, such as submitting a warranty form or requesting a conciliation, will be extended until after the outage period. This is not applicable to Common Elements claims.
- Initial Builder Repair Periods that overlap with or end during the outage will be extended to Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
- Homeowners whose form submission deadline or request for conciliation deadlines fall during the period of July 24, 2026 to August 4, 2026, will also have their deadlines extended to Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
- Homeowner forms that have been saved with submission deadlines between July 24, 2026 and August 4, 2026 will be auto submitted on Wednesday, August 5, 2026
- All system-generated communications and notifications (e.g., CAR Reports, warranty updates, and What’s New notifications for BuilderLink) will be suspended during the outage.
If you are a homeowner, we encourage those who wish to submit a warranty claim form to Tarion to log in to your MyHome account before 5:00 p.m. on July 24 to create a new warranty form and/or edit an existing one.
If you have any questions, please contact Tarion’s Customer Service Team by email at CustomerService@Tarion.com or by phone at 1-877-982-7466, Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
If you are a builder, please ensure the following actions are taken before 5:00 p.m. on July 24 to prepare for the outage:

Any updates to CEPATS can be done prior to 5:00p.m on Friday, July 24, or held until the system is back up on Tuesday, August 4th, at 8:00 a.m.
