Tarion is pleased to announce the appointment of Marni Dicker as the new Chair of its Board of Directors, Maria Kyveris as Vice Chair and Lesley Gallinger as Member At Large.
Ms. Dicker has served on Tarion’s Board since 2022 and has held various committee roles in governance, audit and risk, stakeholder relations, investment and human resources. Ms. Dicker has been the Board Vice-Chair for the past three years and is now the organization’s first female Board Chair. Her experience and leadership will support Tarion’s continued focus on customer service, building confidence in the new home sector and enhancements to the most comprehensive new home warranty in the country. Ms. Dicker is taking over for outgoing Chair Andy Kenins following his nine years of service to Tarion’s board.

Ms. Dicker is currently Executive Vice President, Infrastructure and Chief Legal Officer for the Canadian Premier League, and has extensive governance, consumer protection and community development experience.
Maria Kyveris, Tarion’s new Vice Chair, first joined the Board in 2023 after serving as a member of Tarion’s Industry Advisory Council for three years. Ms. Kyveris is the Vice President of Building and Land Development for PK Homes, a family-run new home builder in Ontario, and brings her experience with residential construction and proven commitment to customer service to her new role.
Lesley Gallinger has also joined Tarion’s board as a member at large. Ms.Gallinger is the President and CEO of Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) and has two decades of experience in the electricity sector and a strong background in strategic leadership, financial management and stakeholder engagement.
