Gena Argitis joined Tarion in March 2005 as Corporate Counsel after practising at McCarthy Tétrault LLP.  She was promoted to the position of Assistant Vice President and Associate General Counsel in 2015.  In 2020, she became Vice President and Chief Administration Officer, responsible for management of human resources, stakeholder relations and communications.  She was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2024.  Gena graduated with a silver medal from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Waterloo.  She was called to the Ontario bar in 2002.
