Toby Stolee

Director (Ontario Builder Experience)

Toby joined Tarion’s Board of Directors in March 2020 and his current term expires in 2027. He currently serves as chair of the Governance, Regulatory Affairs & Nominations Committee and is a member of the Stakeholder Committee.

Toby was the Vice President of Construction for a large builder developer based in London Ontario. In his role he oversaw all aspects of new residential and commercial construction, as well as commercial fit ups and capital projects on existing assets. In addition to responsibilities related to construction, Toby also sat on the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic vision and growth of the company. Toby has a passion for green building and helped to bring the first LEED production homes to the London market, and he was actively involved with the construction of West 5, London’s first Net Zero community.

In addition to his career, Toby is a very well-respected leader in his industry, having sat on the London Home Builders’ Association executive and board of directors for 20 years, serving three terms as the Association President. He has also served on the Ontario and Canadian Home Builders’ Association boards, as well as various community and city run task forces.

Further to this, Toby has contributed to various community and charitable organizations, most notably Kids Kicking Cancer Canada, serving as National President and Board Chair since 2013. Kids Kicking Cancer is an international organization in which volunteer Blackbelt martial artists teach the mind and body techniques of Martial arts instruction, breathe work and meditation to empower children beyond the pain and discomfort of their disease. This therapy is delivered in hospitals as well as community programs.
