Toby Stolee, ICD.D
Director (Ontario Builder Experience)
Toby joined Tarion’s Board of Directors in March 2020, and his current term expires in 2027. He currently serves as Chair of the Governance, Regulatory Affairs & Nominations Committee and is a member of the Stakeholder Committee.
Toby is an experienced construction and development executive, currently serving as COO at South Winds Development, a residential land developer in the London region. He previously held the role of VP of Construction for a major London builder/developer, where he oversaw residential, commercial, and capital projects, and contributed to strategic growth as part of the Executive Leadership Team. A strong advocate for sustainable building, he introduced LEED homes to the London market and helped develop West 5, the city’s first Net Zero community.
Toby has held leadership roles in industry associations, including 20 years on the London Home Builders’ Association board—serving three terms as President—and has served on both provincial and national boards. He is also deeply involved in community service, notably as National President and Board Chair of Kids Kicking Cancer Canada since 2013, supporting children through martial arts-based therapy.
He holds the ICD.D designation and completed the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management.
